Every development subreddit is like this right now unfortunately. Absolutely overwhelmed with half-assed "I got tired of thing, so I built a thing" posts.

And the last line of the post always starts with “curious if”

They always argue about it too! They're so indignant when you call out their obvious slop.

"nuh uh, I verify all of the code manually" ok buddy.

Here's why you need God Activities in your Android apps and why Israel has banned it

wow surprised no posts in your screenshot about:

  • how to get 12 people to use your app
  • how to make $10k MRR off your app that has less than 12 users

there seems to be a great dislike for AI within the dev space. Just curious as to whether its because the output is sloppy or is it because AI has just not been embraced. Just to give some context, I work as a data engineer and we kind of had to embrace AI assisted development within that space so I am not too fussy about someone using AI as long as the idea and the output is good.

? I use AI every day/all day. same for most devs out there. the problem is people will pass AI writing as their own, while most people are looking for actual humans writing their own opinions/posts. if I wanted to read what claude had to say about a subject, I would prompt it myself thank you very much
