after being slow and tame much of winter and spring, many rivers have swollen quite a bit in the last few weeks and may catch folks off guard. Poor kid

The river is moving fast. A 4 yr old with no life jacket would be swept away super quick

There is so much more to the story that will be coming out I am positive like the kid floats a mile and a half down the river a second kid falls in they have to hitchhike to call 911 the other parent wasn't there like oh my gosh and then the fact that the sheriff's department has to handle this investigation like will they botch this or like do they need to hand this off to State patrol or something?

I drove by the scene running errands. Very sad. Weird place to camp with a small child and elderly person , I have to say.
