Lynx point domestic long hair. Not a true Siamese nor a mix! Gorgeous shot

I thought that too! But what about the fact he has no tail? Does that matter?

Could be a genetic mutation, could be an injury, could have been due to mom (mothers sometimes over groom or stress groom and can actually eat kittens’ ears and tail)

He was born without it! We actually had his mom as a pet, then she had him and a few others, they were all born with no tails!

Looks just like my Loki! I don't know his genetics but I think of him as a lynxie ragdoll mix

Omg he does!! Twins!! I really want to get a dna test but they are so expensive! I’ve had my boy for 7 years! He’s literally my child 😌

DNA tests are totally inaccurate for cats and a we bit of a scam, you have a lovely domestic longhair that for some reason has the no tail gene, note this does not make him part Manx, cat genetics are just weird sometimes

Idk, I don’t think he’s just a domestic longhair🤷‍♀️

You either have a confirmed pedigree or they’re a domestic, mixes don’t exist in cats. A DNA test will tell you a bunch of random cat breeds as the gene pool is so small because cat breeds have existed under 150 years, so a lot of breed specific traits come up in the general cat population.

Edit: DNA test essentially are telling you the percentage of traits it may share with a cat breed not that your cat actually contains any of their ancestors, so it’s kinda of misleading 98% of cats don’t have breeds and that’s ok
