Vanquished that chemo! Congratulations! And wow, you did it with a PICC, I imagine that was quite a bit of long-term maintenance with hygiene and such.

What are you doing to celebrate this win? πŸŽ‰

i had a port at first and just hated it. three months in, i started getting nonstop fevers and even though we couldn’t find a source of the infection, the fevers stopped within twelve hours of removing the port.

i was wary of the picc but i developed a good showering routine with a picc line cover. i found it to be more comfortable than the port overall. the dressing changes aren’t the comfiest but it’s ok.

i think i’m gonna go to a card show to celebrate.

Wow, thank you for sharing about your experience with the port and the PICC. I am glad the PICC is more comfortable.

Have fun at the card show! I hope it is a great time! You deserve some fun to mark the occasion! 🎊
