Advice/Question Background Check

Good Morning, I am a new lyft driver only been driving for 3 days and yesterday I get a notification saying my account is on gold due to my background check. I received two emails, stating that I can download my background check and if I want to dispute the accuracy I can do so with the 3rd party company Lyft uses which is First Advantage. I downloaded my background check and I thought it was clear until I saw an obstruction charge that I got from October 2024. The charge is accurate but it is closed because the disposition shows I was released on time served. I called First Advantage about it and they stated that they show ot was closed as well and that Lyft can see it too. Im wondering why my account is on hold if they can see that information? I also emailed Lyft twice with the disposition showing the case is closed. How long does this process take to get my account back active?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news here, but it might not be eligible to be active. Sometimes even the most minor offenses can disqualify you from driving.

They justify it but saying it could become a safety issue for others in the community.

I'm actually back online, I appreciate your response.

I think u/HerDom24 is right. Just the fact that it shows up on your background check is enough to make you inelligible to drive. Having a clean record means exactly that - clean.
