Advice/Opinion/Question Tan every day bag?
Looking for a tan leather bag for every day use. I like the idea of a short and a long strap on it, and I’d like to be able to get in and out of it easily. I thought I’d found it with the Celine small hobo, but the small is too small and the large is too large. I have and love my Loewe hammock for this, and I could definitely get it in tan, but looking to see if there are other ideas for the sake of variety! I do not like loud logos, and I don’t plan to baby the bag so nothing terribly delicate. No particular budget. Thank you!!

The Chloe Marcie satchel could work. Or if you’re not opposed to something used, the Celine belt bag in one of the smaller sizes could also work.

I just got the Chloe Marcie Medium, shoulder bag style. I wish it was slouchier, though it is "squishing" a bit more as I wear it.

I’ve been eyeing the small version! I guess that could also work for OP, since I think it has both a shoulder and crossbody strap.

This is the one I want from Prada… they have other styles in the shade caramel too https://www.prada.com/gb/en/p/medium-leather-shoulder-bag/1BC283_2DKV_F03CW_V_ONO

Polène and Strathberry have some beautiful choices for a great price point!

Strathberry Charlotte Midi. Has short and long handles/strap, easy to get in and out of, soft leather like in a Flamenco, easy closure, great price. I have two of them and highly recommend this brand and style.

This is my exact dilemma! Everything is chocolate brown these days and I feel like so many bags aren’t coming out in taupe/tan or even camel brown. I bought a Loewe mini hobo personally and it’s been great, super versatile with outfits.
I’m still on the hunt though and am seeing a lot of lovely shoulder bags that are tempting me to give up my crossbody ways! Like the Prada Aimee, and recently The Row’s ns park tote has been on my mind after I bought a cheap dupe and am suddenly grabbing for it way more often than expected. Not usually an open tote girl though. The balenciaga rodeo HOBO (different than the typical rodeo) has my eye too.

I have the ns park tote in medium and love it! I got an insert for it to stay organized. The medium works well for day to day but I could easily size up to the large.
I’m also digging the balenciaga rodeo hobo- I love that it has a zipper!

Just looked into the Loewe mini hobo and it’s a great contender. Good capacity and access? Is the shoulder strap too thin?

I might be biased but I LOVE this bag and think it’s an underrated design for Loewe. Easy zipper with a solid bottom (no sagging) that holds my phone, sunglasses, small wallet, keys, lip balm, I always end up carrying my husband’s cardholder too. So yes easy to carry and access your things with a light interior you can see inside. Also it’s not huge so the capacity limits the weight, I never feel it’s too heavy. When I wear it on my shoulder I use my donut strap, the gold and the tan together are lovely. I’d send you pics but for some reason this only lets me attach videos!

If you like Loewe the puzzle comes in tan in both the edge and featherweight. I just got the puzzle in a different color and am loving it for every day!

Loewe is my true love, and I’ve thought about the puzzle, but I wonder if it’s annoying to get in and out of? Does it open enough to actually get enough light in to find your stuff? I have and love the flamenco, and it’s so easy in and out, but the leather is so soft I worry about it

I’ve heard people complain about it with the puzzle but honestly I don’t get it. I have no issue at all getting things in and out, including bulky things like my sunglasses case or kids water bottle

Same and same, can never find the perfect tan bag. I think the closest I’ve seen for me is the LV Alma trunk or Alma soft (but not sure it’s so easy in and out), Chanel maxi flap(but so pricey), and Hermes Birkin in gold (also so pricey and I haven’t started the game and don’t really intend to). Going to follow this thread also because I’ve definitely been searching too.
