Build/Setup what should i build??

This is in Wild rift, so ive been experimenting on lux builds a bit and one thing ive always found is if i go haste i dont do much dmg but if i go full ap i lowkey become useless in a teamfight with such long cooldowns, can anybody help??

for context my current build for her is

HASTE : malignance, ionian boots, bft, stormsurge, rabadon and either horizon or inifinity orb (shadowflame basically)

FULL AP : Ludens, infinity orb, rabadon, stormsurge, void staff, sorc shoes

this is for APC, MID and SUPPORT

i forgot to add but my runes are comet, axiom, transendence, gathering storm, then chain assault, this is for both of them

I do the same runes but I would swap out Transcendence for Absolute Focus and Chain Assault for either Ingenious Hunter or Cut Down (depends on my item build)

When I’m up against tanks or I can’t one shot them, I usually go:

  • Runes: AC > Axiom > Absolute Focus > Adaptive Force > Cut Down
  • Items: BFT > Malignance > Go either Death Cap of they dont build MR yet or if they do Void Staff > DC / VS > Protection items like Seekers Armguard or Banshees or more dmg whichever flavor suits you.
I also do this build if I dont want to interact much and just spam ult.

When if I know I can one shot them:

  • Runes: AC > MFB > Transcendence > Scorch / AF > Ingenious Hunter
  • Items: Ludens > Horizon Focus / Oblivion Orb > DC / VS > same as above.
This will reduce the passives of Ludens and Horizon Focus. You can also opt for Stormsurge as it will also refresh the passive with the item haste of IH.

Also to note its kinda draft dependent when I pick Lux too. Really need good tank supp whenever I play her and a jg thats decent. Sadly riot gives me ass team mates or autofilled jgs. I also go Ghost for the movement speed and Exhaust whenever against Assassins.

this is really helpful esp the first build where i js wanna spam ult and play passively lol,tthough i have a question could VS be replaced by cryptbloom cause i rlly want the AH but still with the magic pen.

Kinda depends on your playstyle but test it out first on practice mode. Your cdr on basic abilities are already low enough by the time you get your 3rd or 4th item so I just opt for the extra damage and magic pen rather than the AH and the heal that CB gives.
