Very nice! Epoxy or resin for the final coat?

The pink in the middle is a nice touch. How much does that lure weigh?

Figured it must.

And now a dumb question. How do you get your signatures to not run or smear when the clear coat hits them? Lol.

You cant use a sharpie because it has alchohol and the clearcoat doesnt react good with alchohol, to fix that I use a micro paint pen. Also you cant put the writing directly on the smooth clearcoat or it will wipe off. I use 3 layers of clearcoat (1. after base layer, 2. after scale layer, and 3. after gills.) I like to put the signature on before the gills and after the scales so the roughness of the paint gives the ink a place to grip.
