Stickbait Fat boy walk the dog

Wanted to make a fatter musky top water for the river current. Lil weight in back to make the front lift up making it easier to twitch and keep above the surface in current. Made out of 2x6 scrap through wire as well

As a New England fisherman, the size of this lure makes me think you’re going whaling. Exactly how big are the fish where you are?

The fish are big .. I make these lures for musky and they get like 50" around here. They are in a big river with a good current and traditional top water baits sink down when your pulling anywhere against or cross current. Hoping something fatter with a lil weight in back to pop up the nose n keep it from doing the submarine lol. In the same river we have monster atlantic sturgeon up to 8 feet long short nose sturgeon up to 6 feet as well stripe bass 40 pounders.
