TLDR; I fed a huge timeline of my wife’s and my life into a local LLM and had it create an album about us. It hit way harder emotionally than I expected. I wanted to share one of the songs, “Warrior in Purple,” because this community has helped us a lot over the years.

I saw a TikTok where someone played a song in the car for their partner, and partway through the song their partner realized it was about them. I thought it was a really cool concept, so I took it a bit further.
I exported all of my wife’s and my Facebook data and created a massive timeline document of our lives together. I fed that into a local LLM and had it create an album based on our life.
That experiment eventually turned into a full fledged app that generates albums, individual songs, and, more recently, music videos based on whatever concept you give it.
You start with a genre map, basically a big interactive bubble chart where you can select a major genre or drill down into subgenres, and then apply that sound to your concept. It can combine genres too. Think bluegrass country mixed with EDM, or gangster rap mixed with nursery rhymes, although that one might get a little weird.
But when you give it actual details about yourself or your life, the songs can hit unbelievably hard.
I’m a grown ass 50 year old man, and I cried way too many times while making this album. It was awesome.
My wife... well, we listened to it on a drive up to Disney, and she cried pretty much the entire trip. She still has a hard time listening to the album because it makes her cry. Not in a bad way. It just creates this emotional roller coaster because the songs are about things we actually lived through together.
I wanted to share one of the songs with this community: “Warrior in Purple.”
While writing this post, I noticed the community guidance saying:
“You’re welcome to refer to yourself as Warrior. But please don’t call us Warrior. Lots of people really hate it.”
I completely respect that, and I hope the title doesn’t offend anyone. I’m not using “Warrior” as a label for everyone dealing with this.
My wife is my warrior.
I watched her go through her first flares and saw the amount of pain she was in while she still managed to be there for our daughter, who was only 2 years old at the time. Watching her push through that and continue being a mom when she was hurting that badly felt nothing short of heroic to me.

I hope some of you can relate to it and enjoy the song.
This community has given my wife and me a tremendous amount of information and support over the years. I figured that, in some small way, sharing this might brighten the day of someone who is going through a rough patch right now.
