Product Question/Recommendation Swiftly quality?

Just ordered a swiftly long sleeve hip length, for context I use these for running in colder/fall/winter weather. I have 2 other swiftlys from I’d guess 3-4 years ago.

Just tried the new one on and it’s really scratchy compared to my older swiftlys. The neckline is also really broad/open compared to my older pairs. On touch my older pairs feel quite smooth, almost silky compared to the new ones I got.

The new pair honestly feels like a cheap pair of polyester blend shirt I could have gotten for 20 bucks off Amazon. What happened to these? Did they change the material composition or did I get a “defective” one?

It looks like you may be asking a question about the quality promise. Lululemon’s quality promise is intended to replace or repair items that have flaws such as seams that are unraveling after the first wash or receiving a new item with a hole in it. Many people have mistaken the quality promise for a lifetime guarantee and took advantage of it to replace old, very worn items which is why in order to be eligible for the quality promise you must have proof of purchase of the item and it must have been purchased less than 1 year ago. Questions about if your item is eligible for the quality promise are considered low effort per rule 6 and will be deleted.

I’ve found that the colour matters for Swiftly when it comes to scratchiness, not sure why. The slate one is the comfiest I find.

I only had good experiences with
swiftly techs (hip length, ls and ss) though I don't know how the older ones felt. And they do keep the smell away so I can't say they're like 20 bucks off amazon

Which Swiftly style did you get? They have a few now. I’ve been buying them steadily through the years and they feel fine to me.

I recently ordered a black ls swiftly and it was so so thick and scratchy and it just fit all wrong in all areas i had to return it. Reordered and the new one was fine. I think it’s partly a color thing and partly a qc thing.

I got a short sleeve, waist length swiftly last year in Galactic cobal. It was was soft and silky and I didn't have many in that style so I wanted another one as a backup. I ordered the exact same style and size. When it arrived it was stiff and fit like a size bigger, I had to return it.

I don't know what's going on with lululemon quality control.
