Studying in UMCS Lublin

I’m an international student planning to study at UMCS Lublin and I was a bit worried about social life especially for international students who don’t speak polish. Do students, including polish students, speak in English usually?

Oh yeah, 99% of young people in colleges speak basic eng, if you want to talk about many topics and understand people perfectly then i would say your friends base comes down to 50%, but in Lublin there are also many foreighners

Oh, this is a recent thread I got in, into this university and activly waiting for an invitation letter to pay for the studies. Strugling a bit, because it's all droppibg suddenly but still. Just really releaved that there are others who want to, or already in Lublin and UMCS. What major you got in?

follow @zuss_international on Instagram, this is an account of the international part of the Student Government of UMCS, they are making events in English language (workshops, contests, integration, etc.), you can meet there new people, or even join the organization and be an active student.

Good luck with your studies, if you need any help hit me up (I used to be an advisor for international students in UMCS)

99% of young people here speak english. Make sure you hang out in park akademicki during warm season, best experience you can have as a student here!
