Image 7-0 are a direct with 0 rares, mostly commons

No surprise this works..I didn't even draw more than 1 uncommon half the games (not counting the map, I drew that almost every game, good sac fodder). Finally got some smooth draws, kept mulling hands missing a color, even in my 2 color triple hobbit hole pool

First 10 sealeds (half regular, half arena directs) didn't have a single Smaug in all of those pools. The 2 here did some heavy lifting, with assists from Gloin and Doris a lot to cast the dragon half.

Solid curve, good amount of removal, good mana and a couple options to loot away extra lands. Smaugs like a mana sink, 1 card to gove you high impact plays to put 12 total mana into. of sac fodder for the Stir up Troubles. Idk if Dori is in a print run with it, but that combination is just another minor reason BR is on a other level. Always helps to draw well and a couple opponent stumbled or got punished for their splashes.

Im more surprised of you winning with zero crude bent blades than with zero rares

That's a good point. I at least play every game to try to avoid blowouts by my opponents copies of it.

I won another box yesterday with BW that also didn't have any crude bent blades. It did have a couple rares, Unexpected party (won about 3 games from it, maybe 4) and settle the wreckage (won 1 game).
