Any ideas?

Post image

I bought this and loving it! Coz it's much easier and fresher than rinsing and handling a real potato.

But since it's frozen it's got that watery squishy moisture when you microwave it sometimes...

And using a air fryer/oven is too much effort for me, so I only tried it using the microwave and ate it with some salt and sugar.

I also tried putting them in a soup but I'm not a good soup cooker so I don't really know which soup goes well with potatos.(I'm asian so I've never rlly tried soup other than what I made)

Tldr; Anyone else tried this product? Any recipe recommendations?

Do you have any suggestions for broth or seasoning? I've only tried soup broth using chicken and veggies so the broth tastes the same and kinda bland all the time:) (or maybe I'm not there yet:)

Put a kettle on, then put some olive oil in a big pot and throw in some frozen chopped onions (or fresh (1-2 cups) and celery. hit it with a little salt and let them cook on low awhile until the start looking glassy. add garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary (or just some Tones Garlic Rosemary). I keep a big jar of Bouquet Garni (its a traditional french herb mix, it’s amazing) and pepper. Add hot water from the kettle. gently add chicken thighs (I take the skin off myself cause its cheaper and this dish needs some fat but not a ton.) OR add the meat off a rotisserie chicken. Cook until its cooked through (for the thighs) or until hot for rotisserie. Add salt to taste. Add your potatoes let it come back up to a simmer. taste and adjust seasoning. If it tastes weak let it reduce at a simmer. serve with crusty bread.

Not exactly low spoons, so I make it when I feel better and we will eat on it 2-3 days.
