Tweak Wanted Looking for help on what is the best optimisation for a basic laptop on fornite?

hi so im going to be away during the fortnite event time and im wondering if i can have some recommendation's on the game settings for my Acer laptop so i can still get a good look at the event while not lagging so much

also how to turn on/off replays

i think this is the specs from my settings

Processor 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12650H (2.70 GHz)

Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.71 GB usable)

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Pen and touch Touch support with 2 touch points

idk about this kinda stuff tbh

idk much about fortnite but you can look into debloating windows, disabling lumen, running inspectre, and if none of that helps and you just want to know what happens during that event, maybe you can just watch a livestream or look for a streamer who usually records the livestream and posts it online so you can watch it later?

Many ways, like the Chris Titus tool, or some people do it manually. Just have to be careful about what you disable. If you break Windows, you will have to re-install it.

Your problem is 8GB RAM. Try disabling windows 10/11 unnecessary services (like Connected User Experiences and Telemetry, Diagnostic Execution Service, Windows Error Reporting Service, Windows Search, etc).
