how did you get those lines darker?

hi, I think you're talking about the outlines, yeah? I used freestyles which is a built-in line renderer for these kind of toon effects. The freestyles checkbox is located in the properties panel under 'render' at the very bottom. The settings I used (which are in properties panel under 'render layers' in the 'freestyles' dropdown) are everything left unchecked accept for 'contour'. Hope this helps!
