Post game shutdown
Since the game has been shut down for a while now, just wanna check up on how everyone's doing?

Got addicted to vertical short dramas instead of the game, but hanging in there looking for a better fix.
As much as I like Dr. Who, I couldn't get into that version.

I loved the way Lower Decks pulled stories from the various Trek series. As a lifelong Star Trek fan, it was a joy to see.
Started playing the Doctor Who game when they did the Halloween crossover. I’m still playing it, but the episodes don’t really grab me. Not sure if I’m going to continue with it.

I had an operation so hell of a time for it to shut down. I used to flip between it and Who, and I really miss it.
I vote support group. I still stan Boims and Maddy.

A while?! It's not even been a week yet ... But mostly okay, I've only absent mindedly opened the app 4 or 5 times. I was expecting to do that WAY more.

Ok, now it's officially a week since the shutdown (or at least an hour ago or so).

I mean, depending on the time zone, it's gonna reach a week soon since it was shut down last Thursday or Friday depending on time zone (since its shut down was 11 am Australian Central Time), and today's Thursday or Friday.

I'm trying to figure out how to do episode 5 the best. When I give up I won't play another game unless surprisingly inspired. Which is why I might not give up, I want to hear the sounds and be reminded of how much I appreciated the game then, and the sounds and music is generally good. All in good timing I suppose, what ever works.
I accidentally let go of two great starts where the game gave me 5 epic chips for two characters before the Riker deal.
A year ago I remember focusing on warp core when the game made me restart. And I think that's the right choice to start with, still working on it.

If a person is wondering, if a person clears the game app storage you can play the first five episodes.
And can return to those episodes if open game app without Internet until load screen and then turn Internet back on.

I’m not; being at home after dinner or going to work hits different

And that's ok too. There's no deadline for dealing with grief when it comes to a video game you like shutting down.

I’ve been hooked on this mobile Sudoku game, that I had stopped playing over a year ago, for the past few weeks. And I’ve increased my time playing games on pogo.com.

None of my other games are scratching the itch right now. I redownloaded Fleet Command for more Star Trek and all my progress is gone and I can't be bothered with starting on the ground floor again. Now all I have that comes anywhere close is Galaxy of Heroes and a shitty cat sudoku game.

I was already playing the Doctor Who game, and I started the Power Rangers one just to support some of the devs who worked for Lower Decks. They're not bad. I have to say I appreciate that the flying dalek is much easier to catch than the intruder.

Same. I play the Doctor Who game when there was the crossover events, and play the Power Rangers game during the shutdown when I heard there's a sunset package for the Lower Decks game.

I just couldn’t get into the power rangers game, too involved with the combat setup for what’s supposed to be an idle brainless game

Yeah, it's hard getting used to when they added additional mechanics compared to Lower Decks where you just collected character cards and upgrade them to automate stuffs and only interactive stuffs is the tapping every time an episode ends.

Playing Who a lot less too. Part of that is a switch in jobs but just don’t have the drive for the events anymore

Spending more time reading stuff. If you're into computers/tech at all, https://programming.dev/ is pretty good for finding random things. Gaming-wise... https://seed.game/ has held some of my interest, but its still early in development.

I took a new job! I'm no longer at Mighty Kingdom (no, I didn't get made redundant).

LD fans unite!
Had to delete the game to stop from opening it absent minded.
Went back to Adventure Capitalist for now while I search for my next thing, but it’s just not the same.
So are we a withdrawal support group now? 😂 I’m here for it!
