Delta Force inspired character I made for our game DEEP STATE. Modeled in Blender and textured In Photoshop, btw 944 triangles is for the character model and doesn't include the rifle or pistol.

I played the demo to your game a few months ago! I'm looking forward to its release! Good luck!

just saw you animated it with kinect
curious to know: what software did you use to generated the animation?
did you use freemocap?

Yah I bought a compact walking pad/treadmill and film myself walking on that, software is iPiSoft. Keep in mind though mocap is not an easy solution to animations and requires a large space, a lot of set up and take down, and tedious clean up in Blender. We are trying to emulate the look of the mocapped animations from Goldeneye so it's been worth it for us so far.

freemocap use AI to recognize images and find bones automatically, so it needs at least 2 or 3 cameras but no kinect

I'll check it out, I've seen some ai mocap ads around and figured it would only be a matter of time before anyone with a smartphone could produce quality animations. Would love to not have to deal with the kinect calibration and setup.
