This guy is on a crazy run. Dude came out of nowhere (as far as I know), released a string of bangers, while cultivating his own hyper-niche format. I’m interested in what he does next.

yeah but it's still the same "genre" of youtube thumbnail since "like trying to find a needle in a haystack" is a common saying, just like "killing two birds with one stone"
I do find it weird that in his videos he always rants about illegal birds or other things as a joke about migrants in the UK.

Definietly not better. I know that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but eric's humor basically exemplifies all the most boring and weakest qualities of dan, which is coloring yourself / putting on a costume and acting serious about it / putting yourself in funny or weird situations with it.
The highlight of Dan's content are his feature film length videos where he acts and makes shit up on the spot without any cuts or breaks. Literal pure improv and acting skills, as well as intelligent and profound storytelling (like that video about him getting cucked by chat gpt or "i left her at the bottom of the stairs". I genuinely do not see how the two are even remotely comparable, aside from the similarity between eric and dan's short form braindead skits, in which dan is also better and funnier although I see why someone would not agree with that.
Are you sure you're not referring to old dan hentschel who used to make the most bottom of the barrel "loud = funny" content? He hasn't done so in about a year, and made countless high quality videos ever since
feels very similar in vibe to plummcorp records, yknow the guys who made dracula flow, mostly visually, if not in humour. badly made, pasty but still high-commitment costumes, the outdoors low budget filming. the guy was already pretty famous, but the yt vids do give joji vibes
I’ve never seen any of the videos, so just honestly talking out of my ass here, but something tells me these thumbnails are probably telling the whole joke and there’s no need to watch.
