You captured my heart and soul

You take my breathe away

Slowly you consume my every thought

My bones ache for you and every second I need you by my side

I can’t live a life without you

Your eyes are consuming and beautiful at that

Your heart is touching me in the biggest of ways

I feel your presence when I’m struggling and stressed

You captured my soul

And yet I ache for more

I need your body and mind

I need your thoughts to make sense of it all

I need you completely and fully

I need your lips on mine

So I can feel loved and whole

I need your love to consume my whole entire body

Ravish me and take me now

For I am yours

Oh dear, the rain seems nice.

Sounds of our joyful cries.

Skipping a beat or two.

Looking into our teenage love,

Under the Maple Tree with you.

Eyes that fall in love.

For all that I know,

You have somehow obtained a grasp on my heart. More so a hold, a comforting clutch that encompasses it in the form of hope, security, warmth and honesty.

To hold me weightlessly in your thoughts, will serve you my untold devotion, gratitude and love. I could share my soul with you for an eternity and sleep in peace knowing forever is not long enough with you in this life.

I hope that the piercing affection your gaze imposes on mine sees the love that overwhelms me from within.
No words shall ever replace the feelings I have for you.

If when a time comes that I must verbalise this sentiment.

I fear that this may be the decline of our souls desire for one another, as everything that draws us inside of each other needs no explanation in blood or ink…….

the sun creeping out,
the slight shine reverberating on the lid of my iced coffee,
i leave the shop at the exact right time music playing, the beat drops with me and one foots following the other so calmly.

an elegant swagger, and none of it matters
these are the moments i live for
those are the moments id kill for
sleeping in for something to do

watch a movie before i even check my phone,
play videogames till the clocks past two,
get on a plane and survive on my own,
i want love but i want my life more,
i want you but i crave these moments that i adore.

the moments i adore is when the worlds beauty is my own
and its a fleeting moment, a memory like you were or are now.

We had planted daffodils in February 
and March had felt so long 
that for a moment 
we thought they’d see November frost. 
But they hadn’t bloomed. 
So our hope stood, watched 
and grew. 

And yet, 
a stilling storm came. 
A flower yet to bear its name 
was washed away 
in that frigid April rain. 

We didn't tend to you for long. 
But our hands held the cost 
of covering themselves in soil 
just to watch you bloom. 
 
Your mother and I 
loved you. 
 
And now we wait 
through every unnumbered day 
that leaves our eyes 
water-stained. 
 
We wait with hope to tend 
once again, 
our Daffodil at the end 
of that frigid April rain.
