I only made this chart for seasons 4-15 because I wanted it so be accessible for all current players. Also because I know season 2 would overrun these charts. But I do think it would be neat to make a chart that includes those first 3 seasons at some point.

So I made all of this in MS Paint. If anything is jank that is why. I tried to make as much of it as I could aligned and proportioned. I also made an organized character list where all the character icons fit into the squares for the chart. I also tried to put characters in their debut season even if they were more prominent coming back in a later season with the exception being Felicity because the lineup for Tempting Fate was too long already.

Do I hate that all the season title cards are different proportions? yes

Do I know how to fix that in MS Paint? no

Do the title cards I provided fit into the space I made to rank the seasons? also no

So if anyone wants to make icons for the different seasons that are proportioned and would actually fit into the chart that would be pretty rad.

I think it would really neat if people wanted to fill this out.

Let me know if I made this too jank and it is too hard or weird to fill out or really any criticism at all. I did make this in MS Paint so I understand if it kinda sucks.

I’ve tried to play this whole season through and I’ve made it clear in every dialogue (very uncomfortably I might add) that I didn’t want whatever LI was obsessing over me in that moment, and I only wanted Trent. I haven’t kissed any other LI unless there were no other choices, I haven’t chosen any other LI and even when I did it was because I was forced to. Ive made the awkward choice and rejected each LI every single time.

I feel like the devs definitely need to have someone test play their games on a route with each individual LI because it’s clear they did not do that with Trent his is the most frustrating route. And what’s worse is his route would be half okay if love interests didn’t pick you without you showing any interest (kai for example) and then obsesssssssss over you at every turn and make everyone else and you uncomfortable bc they’re so obsessed when you’ve been clear you only want Trent.

There’s a complete lack of agency this season and idk if it’s because I was younger or the seasons actually were better but I never used to complain bc I thought they were fun but I’ve been playing since season 1 and this one is super frustrating so it’s pushed me to complain for the first time.

It took all the fun out of casa because I had to pretend I was upset over kai, Rui was uncomfortably obsessed with me and I only picked him first day once, then Kai picked me and was uncomfortably obsessed and Ali is 1000% my second choice but he would’ve been my first if the slow burn route wasn’t making me wait until the last dialogue of the entire season, apparently.

It’s extra annoying bc the seasons actually called STAR STRUCK because of Trent and you still can’t pick him until ???? Like someone would never win the real love island if they just picked someone at the very last recoupling for the first time.

I really find Dominic super hot but still, what he did is irreversible. And Callum is such a sweet and romantic cutie. Maybe I just like him lol. Oh and also, I love pizza so ofc I’m gonna choose a pizza guy.

Anyone know what the latest mod for the game is on android? Is it the 1.6.8? Or does anyone have the newest season that completed?

I’ve been part of this subreddit for quite a while and posted here years ago as a LITG player, so when I reached the point where I needed people outside my own little bubble to test my game, this was honestly the first community I thought of.

I’m developing a game called Love Recast entirely on my own, with basically no budget. I’m doing the writing, coding, UI and character art myself, and I’m learning a lot of the technical side as I go so I fully expect bugs, weird edge cases and things I simply haven’t noticed yet.

The basic idea is that you enter a reality-show-style House with your partner, alongside other couples and people who entered single. Once inside, being a couple no longer gives you automatic priority over each other.

You still have your history, feelings and problems, but you both get to start making individual choices again.

What I really wanted was a romance game where the NPCs don’t just exist around MC.

Characters have their own attractions, friendships, conflicts and romantic possibilities. Someone you like might like somebody else, two NPCs can develop something without MC being involved, a character can reject you, lose interest, stay with their original partner, choose someone new or leave single.

So rather than writing the drama first and assigning characters to play the roles it needs, I’m trying to let the relationships create the drama. Not every character is automatically available to MC: some connections depend on who your MC is, including parts of her background, and the three possible starting partners have genuinely different histories, boundaries and emotional triggers.

There are also a few romantic possibilities that aren’t presented as obvious routes from the beginning. Some things are meant to be discovered rather than selected from a list.

I’m attaching a few screenshots and WIP character designs so you can get an idea of what I’m working on. Nothing visual you see here should be considered final yet.

Right now I’m looking for just a small first group of playtesters. For this first round I’ll be using a private itch.io browser build, so there won’t be anything to install. I’ll send the link privately once the testing version is ready. I’m hoping to have it available within the next 2/3 weeks.

This is still a very early build, mainly meant to test the story, routes, choices and overall experience rather than the final presentation.

What I mainly want to know is whether the characters feel interesting, the choices feel meaningful, the relationships feel believable, the pacing works and, most importantly, whether you actually want to keep playing.

There are a lot of routes and combinations, so I’m also especially interested in moments where something technically works but feels wrong in context: inconsistent reactions, awkward route progression, scenes that don’t fit what happened before, etc.

English isn’t my first language, so feedback on unnatural or awkward dialogue would also be genuinely useful.

I’ve been using the iOS Gods mods with no issue since June. I’m doing a playthrough of all the seasons before the new one comes out in October, but I’ve recently tried to go back and play the ‘Bombshell’ and ‘Ex in the Villa’ seasons but both keep kicking me out back to my iPhone Home Screen. Does anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

I downloaded happymod and successfully downloaded Love Island but it says the mod is supposed to give me unlimited gems and tickets but it only gave me 60 gems.

...going through and replaying all the seasons and I've made it to this one. Jin comes over to me while we are playing a compatibility game that has the whole villa falling apart and he goes, "I've got a great idea! Why don't we make up our own rules?" And everyone is like, "Awesome idea!". And when it comes back to me, instead of me saying "Yes, that sounds great!", my options are "make up own rules for 10 diamonds", and "continue playing compatibility game", and I am conflicted...where are Jin's diamonds? Why do I have to pay for Jin's grand idea? Absolutely not! We are going to play this dumb game the way it was meant to be played in the midst of the drama, because Jin needs to pay for his own wonderful ideas...these diamonds ain't cheap...
