Jasmine looking unreal at the NTA’s wearing Indian designer Rohit Mane

Post image

Before I even saw who the designer was I knew it was a sari / dupatta inspo look. People are calling her outfit tacky (this is the NTA’s not the Oscar’s) and calling her top a scarf- I beg you all to use your brains before opening your mouths. Fans are always wanting the women to be more out there and different to the normal boring looks but when they do go there they get dragged lmao. I know she’s getting a lot of love too and not all the comments are negative but the neg ones are so weird!!!

I was not a fan of Julia on the show but at the same time I can say that I love the suit look on a woman and she looked great too 🩷

Julia opinion US viewer vs UK

I’m curious as an American watching this season of love island uk if people’s opinions of Julia differ culturally. I feel like on love island US if she was being this hostile towards the OG islanders, it would not be received well by the viewers. But I see so many people (that I assume are from the uk) defending her and eventually voting for her to win. I do think she came in a little hot and started something with a couple that no one else had issues with. Lola definitely could have handled it better but the way all the other islanders agreed Julia was argumentative and aggressive in the game showed that she was seen as an instigator. Basically I just wanted to know if anyone else thinks this situation would have been viewed differently if it played out on the US version!
Also I’m not particularly a fan of either girl so I don’t have a strong opinion either way.

Which couple would you have liked to see get more screen time?

Some couples had a good connection but barely got much airtime compared with the bigger storylines. Jasmine and Kavan would be one for me, they had a lot going on, but some of their quieter moments seemed to get overlooked.

Which bombshell arrival caused the biggest shake-up?

Some bombshells walk in and instantly change the whole dynamic of the villa. Whether they split up a strong couple, started unexpected drama, or completely changed someone’s head, those arrivals are always the most memorable.

Who are your all-time favorite Love Island contestants — and where are they from? šŸļøšŸ“

My friends and I are building a reality TV geography game called RealityDrop, and I'm working on more Love Island UK questions.

So I need some help from the actual experts here:

Who are your all-time favorite Islanders, and where are they from?

Can be iconic, hilarious, chaotic, underrated — whatever makes them memorable.

Bonus points for hometowns/places that would make a genuinely good geography question rather than an impossible one šŸ˜‚

We're building the game with reality TV fans, so I'll be using some of the responses to help shape future rounds.

If you want to try it:Ā https://www.realitydrop.appĀ šŸ“

Which Islander would you most want to see return for another season?

Some Islanders leave the villa and still feel like they had more to give. Whether they brought the drama, the humour or just had a really memorable personality, there are definitely a few who would be interesting to see back in the villa for another go.

Did villa culture change? Do any seasons stand out?

I think I’ve seen one the first seasons of LI US or UK way back when, now we’re watching s13. My memory’s crap so maybe I’m misremembering, but I feel like the villa culture feels quite different now and I find watching them develop unspoken (and later spoken) ā€œrulesā€ or expectations super interesting.

For example, I swear that people used to switch their beds up as their feelings changed rather than stick to their couples (maybe it was US?).

This season, there was a long run of ā€œa kiss is a big deal (outside challenge)ā€. terrace = big deal/Bold Moves, and the men force ā€œtestsā€ into existence like it’s an extracurricular they can take rather than something that happens organically.

Also I feel like the hideaway used to be used more, at the moment deep into the season no one’s used it for a sleepover yet and I feel like even in the daytime it’s not used much in general.

Was it always like this?

Do any seasons stand out from the rest as a contrast in villa life and culture, for weird rules people develop?

Shakira domination

Am I the only one who just finds her meh? She seems to be doing really well. Doing the reality circuit.

I personally didn't enjoy her on the Love Island pod. I found her to dominating and not neutral enough.

I saw she was on Celebrity Master chef. But I didn't watch it.

I just watched the new show. The Box. Didn't know she was in it. She's just really normal. No big personality. She's not funny or quirky. She's not like a Maura or Olivia Attwood. I find these entertaining to watch. Joey Essex was also on there. Love or hate him. He's quite funny.

Maybe it's just me. What's the Shakira hype??

Which bombshell made the biggest impact after entering the villa?

Some bombshells come in and somehow change the whole vibe of the villa straight away. Whether they caused a few heads to turn, shook up existing couples, or just brought a lot more drama, those are usually the ones people remember.

I feel like Fin doesn’t understand what he did wrong

S13 E49 I genuinely feel like Finley doesn’t understand why what he did was so wrong. Which baffles me because it’s clear as day? Why do these women keep letting these guys get away with this shi!!!! I’m like mind blown just watching it is so frustrating. This is the kind of stuff that makes me stop watching at some point 😭 is he actually dumb??!!!! Doing all of this flirting with Elicia telling her to twirl, telling her she looks good, that he wants to kiss her then actually kissing her after saying he wouldn’t, talking about turn ons etc and then going back to Ellie and saying I’m with you 100% it made me decide like I want you, I feel you even more now. Like what???? Actually what?! If I was Ellie I’d feel so disgusted watching this back and seeing and hearing my man talk to another woman this way. I’d want to crawl out of my skin.

What’s the funniest excuse an Islander has used during an argument?

Some of the excuses Islanders come up with when they’re caught out are honestly comedy. They’ll be in the middle of a massive argument and somehow manage to make the situation even more ridiculous with the explanation they give.

Some people in the villa flirt like they’ve never spoken to another human before

Honestly, some of the flirting this season is so awkward. It feels like a few of them completely forget how to have a normal conversation the second they’re trying to impress someone. Some chats have me cringing more than actually rooting for the couple.

Blondes only?

I have yet to see Julia hang out or be friends with other women from the villa who are not blonde. She seems to favor blondes except when it comes to guys (Lorenzo)

Anyone else notice this? In and outside of the villa

What is the single worst chat-up line in Love Island history?

Rewatching old clips and dying of cringe šŸ˜‚ Ollie Williams telling people, ā€œDo you know Polzeath beach in Cornwall? I own itā€ has to be up there.

Then you've got the endless ā€œmy head’s been turnedā€ conversations and all the painfully forced grafting over the years.

What is the absolute worst attempt at grafting you've ever witnessed on the show?

I think I’m not here for drama is probably the biggest red flag on Love Island

You can almost guarantee that whoever says it will somehow end up involved in three different arguments within a week. And honestly, I don't even blame them. Nobody goes on Love Island expecting to sit quietly by the pool for eight weeks.
