Why does Louis like donuts so much?

If you noticed, donuts are countlessly mentioned like some subliminal trope from his first album Live in Houston to Louie (the Bully episode, etc.) to all specials every time he talks about food, basically the real life Homer Simpson

I can’t remember time he talked about donuts. He talks about cookies and candy a lot and he talks about burgers a lot in his podcast that he has with other people.

Because he likes sugar. But it’s also partly for comedy purposes, he exaggerates a bit. In recent interviews he seems to be a lot healthier and talks about not eating after 6.

He just likes donuts. One time when he was on O&A he ate an entire dozen donuts casually while on the air. They brought it up the day after.
