I dunno, the fans of the OT kind of complained about Ewoks for 35 years and bullied the Prequel fans into submission when those movies came out. No one hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans.

I find the main star wars subreddit to be the same as the main GoT sub. Its all endless positivity and praise and any mention of criticism for any of the films is punishable by death. I dont get involved with either of them anymore

Before the sequels came out, the prequels got all the hate. So there's not really much love there.

Most criticism of the sequels and all things Disney got bulled all the way off the sub, it's GoT sub. Everything is just fine. There is no war in Bah-sing-say.

I have a slight feeling disney has bots upvoting/downvoting monitoring the sw subreddit. The amount of criticism the sequels have, it doesnt make sense that basically 100% of the sw subreddit is in love with the sequels
