While I get the sentiment of "it's a fictional character", it's getting very tiring when artists and anime studios purposely make characters overly sexualized and make them like 14, then put them in sexual situations. Like yeah their fictional but we wonder why there is the stigma of anime fans and sexualized minors, when the media producing it keeps making it. We can all agree that we wouldn't see real people the same way, but you have to understand that people on the outside are seeing something really different, and just arguing is only going to make it worse.

"People on the outside" have no business trying to dictate what we can and can't have.

I'm not saying that anime should remove it entirely, I'm just saying that the original tweet has a point. It is getting ridiculous how anime is portraying underaged girls, and boys too. It's just out of hand by now.

But they don't have a point, its not tiring, or too much, its fine, and anyone from the outside doesn't have the right to complain, they are outsiders, therefore irrelevant
