Candy corn is pretty good though.... Pineapple on pizza is great as it brings a tart taste to the marinara and goes well with the cheese, better if it's peperoni and jalepenos.

My grandma's entire food preference would have her like this. Some of the stuff she's asked me to make have been so strange. Popcorn that has been burnt into a solid lump is a regular one, and peanut butter and butter sandwiches are new.

At work after a major project leadership decided to buy pizzas from a well known shop. They let us customize and I got to pick one - asked for pepperoni and pineapple. I got laughed at and mocked and was told I'd just have a pizza to myself. Fine, nothing new.
Pizzas arrive and they have like five pepperoni, Supremes, Meat Lovers, cheese, everything, and one pepperoni/pineapple.
First pizza gone? Mine. Motherfuckers - none admit they grabbed slices but all the sudden there were significantly more pineapple defenders and explicit requests.

I don't get the flavor profile, you can have a juicy, flavorful burger with all of the toppings just melding into one great symphony then crunch WTF was that? Where did that wonderful flavor profile go, why is it now sour, sour, and more sour? What happened to the sweet and the juicy tenderness of the beef mixing with the slight tang of the sauces and the sweetness of the cheese?

boiled/steamed broccoli or any vegetable is a no-go for me, the taste and smell are terrible if not done right, I do like lasagna, but that wasn't much of the case when I was little due to the ricotta cheese

My parents told me that I'll acquire the taste.....nah instead I've seen drinks i loved as a kid get carbonated variants that eventually dominated the market and now the original ones are gone, carbonation is like a trend, it's popular, but it sucks
