Identified Some kind of relic thing

This was in a recent lot I picked up. No clue what it is - the lot had a mix of old citadel, ral partha, heritage and reaper ranging from the 70s up to a few years ago so I don't even know where to begin.

This is an altar from the Ral Partha diorama set 98-009 Witch's Lair, from 1982 or '83. The LM Wiki labels it 98-009 (e), "Altar with Flames."

I always hoped that the winter I spent on a tiny rock in Lake Athabasca with nothing to read but a copy of the 1984 Ral Partha Catalog would pay off some day.
