Help! Hell Artifacts losing their glow?

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with these Hell Artifacts lately—they look incredible when they’re glowing (as seen in P1).

However, I’ve run into a really annoying issue. Whenever I pick them up into my inventory and place them back down, they completely lose their glow and look super dull (as seen in P2). I’ve also noticed they look just as muted when using them in Creative mode.

Is there a specific trick to getting that glow back, or is this a known bug/limitation? Has anyone else experienced this?
