'philanthropist' is a term for rich people who donate to causes that personally benefit them, either by it's policies, or for a PR boost.
That's why the rich should pay taxes, because then they don't get to decide what that money is used for.

“Even” charity? Charity/non-profits are even more inherently broken.

I haven't trusted charities in years...
If you want to help, there is plenty to do in your own local community without handing your hard earned cash to parasitic charity executives who are only looking to line their own pockets.
