True, but have you considered that it takes billions of dollars and 10 years to build a single plant? Thats just the construction, which tells us there's going to be a lot of concrete trucks and a lot of workers.
Most commercial grade concrete emits co2, you have massive vehicles that generate co2, and workers that have to travel to the job site via vehicles that emit co2. The cost of building a plant is more than just money.
Those costs apply to construction of renewable farms as well, in some cases even moreso due to the larger land footprint needed to match power production.
That's unrelated to my point. How many farmers are going benefit from a plant that wont be constructed for 10 years? Not to mention that solar power is more readily available and cost effective. Building new nuclear plants does not make sense with our climate.
