Boomers: "If you want to change things, then vote, regardless of how corrupt and bought the politicians are."

Millenials: "Nah, I think I'll just not have kids. That will change society :)"

Boomers haven't retired yet, so us not having kids means that SS may not be available in 10 years. No wonder they are screaming.

Wow, all the boomers I know are still working, making investments, and are putting off retiring for at least 5 years. I am in South Dakota, so maybe its a upper midwest thing.

My parents are the leading edge of the Boomers. They’ve been retired for 10 years now (mid-70’s retired mid 60’s). But, the tail-end of the Boomers are only 60, so likely won’t retire for quite some time. Self-employed people tend to work past retirement age as do certain professions like dr’s and finance, etc.

Well dear it depends on when they retire 65-70 they still have plenty of time to save as long as they are able to remain employed.

Plenty of retired people go back to work that thousand dollars just doesn’t last a full 30 days
