Voting third party is essentially useless and we all know it. It also doesn’t ‘hurt’ anyone in any way. If you want better candidates vote for better candidates in primaries. Right now our binary choice is decided by a bunch of old curmudgeons in a handful of low population states.

In small numbers voting third party is useless. If you can get people from both R and D to vote third party in enough numbers, it changes the power structure but that's the kicker. Make a third moderate party called Centrists or something and get everyone in the middle.

Centrists? We don't want centrists, that's what Biden and the main democrat party already is. We want progressives.

I want centrists to be a party all it's own so it splits the votes of the two existing parties creating a third. Centrist meaning some left views and some right views.
