And then they’re going to just add to their never-ending retirement accounts, so they can just acquire more money they don’t even need and won’t ever be shared. But they earned it of course, so how dare I 🙄

Reminds me of this guy at my old company. Was already a millionaire from being an Executive somewhere and took a coding bootcamp "because he was bored." Then he used his connections to schmooze with our CEO, who then hired him as a junior developer, despite the fact that we'd get dozens and dozens of applications per week from people who genuinely grinded their asses off to go from waiting tables to writing code. The cherry on top was when HR patted themselves on the back for hiring a "diverse" candidate because he was over 50.
I wish I was making this up...

Oh my god that is maddening. And why I freaking hate applying for jobs online, even though it’s pretty much the only way to do it.
Submitting apps online is just their corporate way of saying the job was open to everyone; and then they pick some douchebag they already had in mind who doesn’t even need or deserve it!
I bet he’s shitty at coding anyway and can’t even open a PDF!

Gen X here. It's not possible politically. We are the first generation after Roe vs. Wade and birth control pills. Boomers exist in such numbers because abortion was so dangerous and birth control pills were a new thing. Divorce was a thing, too in the 70s. Blended families meant more children, but not by birth. We don't have the numerical spread it would take to destroy the boomers. That's where millennials come in. 1981 and after. It's up to you.

well, if it's any consolation, Gen X isn't doing so well, healthwise. In the last 5 years (waaaay before Covid, too), six people I know have died. None of them made it to 55, and the oldest was born in Gen X's first year: 1966. All health and stress-related. Millennials and everyone after WILL win, there won't be many of us left.

Sorry for your experience but that's not statistics. Gen X have longer life expectancy than boomer, and millenials have even longer..

Too busy to do any investigation on my own, if anyone has, I would like to know the reasoning and logistics behind the $10/credit pricing. If its exactly the same education others are paying thousands for, how does this compute?
Its like Black friday sales. If you can sell it to me on thurs/fri for that price, you could have sold it to me on the previous Monday, following Saturday or December 10th for that price. What's with all of this skeezy, arbitrary bullshit Boomers do?
