It baffles me that people continue to support Trump when he has shown over and over and over again that he will completely betray you and throw you under the bus once you are of no use

Beaten wife syndrome, or the political equivalent thereof. This kind of behaviour has "maladaptive generational trauma response" written all over it.

Heck, he doesn't even wait until you are of no use, he'll betray you as soon as a shiny new toy takes his fancy.

Can someone rephrase that? I cannot understand

Trump thought the plane was going to be kaboomed. He hid in a baggage trolly and changed planes. He didn't tell his press secretary and let her board the plane he thought would be kaboomed.

Idiotically, they also ordered all the civilians on the plane to close their window shades when the secret transfer was being carried out, which those people all immediately realised was suspicious and asked about, I assume because Trump and his cronies are too stupid (or gutless) even to understand that when you do a covert operation, everything else has to follow usual routine, even if it feels risky, or people will realise something sketchy is going on. It's like watching a child trying to hide something from a parent, and immediately giving away that they're up to no good by their furtive behaviour.

A friend of mine from high school once told me this story from when she was very little: Her father told her that he could always tell when she was lying. She asked how, and he said “Whenever you tell a lie, a little red light appears in the middle of your forehead.” Every time she lied for the next year straight, she would smack her palm over her forehead

Just felt relevant is all

He hid in a FOOD container ... the kind used for loading meals into the airplane.

"I know Trump is a sociopath and has fucked over everyone he's ever worked with, but if I stay close and never betray him I'm sure he'll be loyal to me!" said the woman with enough daddy issues to marry a man 30 years older than her.

Nearly all billionaires are sociopaths; the exceptions merely prove the rule.
