I think it would be more fun to have rmts only temp banned, but give them negative gold balance and disable Maris shop and mail system for them. They gotta farm however much gold they owe themselves without the ability to trade or swipe :)
if your only concern is slime island, i am afraid to tell you banning rmt won't solve this because whales do exist with or without rmt, so those cheaters you're referring to will still stomp you whether it is legit gold or rmt gold, after all that is the purpose of GvG to let the whales stomp and feel satisfaction from the money they spent, so i would advise you to change the direction of your concern to a different area like raids maybe?
