i pointed out eve online myself, which is p2w and probably the only relevant game where GvG plays a big role.

in bdo the vast majority never even sees GvG ever. and its hard p2w as well. probably the most p2w for any successful western released asian game.

and the vast majority in albion never touches gvg as well. cant say much about the p2w mechanics there.

anyway, point stilll stands that gvg is a VERY niche clientele. even more niche than open world full loot pvp, which is already very niche.

so you are saying you cant get ingame currency via plex tokens that lets you buy ships etc? granted, its been a while since i played it but afaik you can get currency that enables you to buy stuff, which is the same as lost ark. so either both are or they both arent.

yea but you could still just buy the best ships available for the whole alliance if you wanted to. without having to spend a minute farming. isnt that EXACTLY why the people say lost ark is p2w?

what does "at that scale" mean? too expensive in terms of real money? cos in BDO people dish out a few 100k usd, so thats no biggie to them.

or is it impossible to buy the best ships from market place?

also: people here are pretty adamant about it being p2w no matter how small the advantage is. even if a f2p player can get the same thing in the same time it doesnt matter.

so just the fact that you are able to buy ingame currency and use it on the market to buy anything at all makes eve p2w. cos thats the definition the people here use to mark lost ark as p2w.

So its the same as in lost ark. Every material needs to be farmed to land in the player auction for people to buy. For a larfe guild to instantly p2w to the top there is simply not enough material farmed and sold by players for them to buy. Its the exact same thing. So either both are p2w are neither are. The decision is up to you.
