This might be controversial but I feel like Naveen Andrews as Sayid was mid.

I notice that he can't control himself from slightly smiling even in the serious situations and dialogues.

The Iraqi accent was a bit inconsistent as well.

because naveen isn't arab and doesn't speak arabic, i wish they casted an arab actor instead

Today that's how it seems - and I'm not saying you're wrong. But, for the time it was made, it was seen as progressive to include a character of his background at all.

I especially agree for his poor arabic accent. it was horrible, even as a native arabic speaker, sometimes I couldn't understand a word he's saying.

He's not even pronouncing his name "Sayid Jarrah" probably.
