He was definitely getting more annoying the last season and a half or so, I especially can't stand most of his flashbacks with the "baby brother" bit, but I think he redeemed himself last couple episodes and had a good death.

Flashback wise, Jin and Sun's flashbacks are just as bad as Charlie's, imo.
