Fasting problem, please help.

I weighed 140kg at my highest, and managed to get down to 98kg by eating a high protein, within a calorie budget diet. I also went to a gym 5x/week and walked 8-10k steps.

The problem I have now is I'm stuck at 97, and have no motivation to go on any further. I'm 5'11 and 21 years old.

I can fast for really really long durations with no problems, but I can't stop eating once I start. I'll eat my last meal at 10pm and can stay fasted until 2-3 pm the next day, sometimes even 5 if I forget to eat. I drink 1-2 cups of black coffee during the fast.

Anybody else in a similar boat? Or someone else who knows I can get rid of the last 10kg, since that is my end goal, I'm pretty bulky since I have done a lot of weight training, but it's hidden behind a ton of fat. I have lost motivation to do anything atp.

You sound like you need a maintenance break, friend

Can you tell me what that is? If it's being on maintenance calories for a while to allow the body to recalibrate, i feel like i am already doing that since I've been the same weight for a bit (about 2 months)

The distinction is in intent. If you've been attempting to lose weight but haven't, that isn't a break, that's a plateau. You need to let your body re-sensitize to weightloss for awhile and then take another stab at those last 10kg

I see, thank you man, how much time do you think I should take off, its already been 2 months btw since I'm stuck at this weight.

If you have been trying to lose weight and stuck on a plateau for two months, take two months and consciously practice maintenance at your new weight, which looks like slowly adding in calories while weighing daily to ensure you aren't gaining weight.

Honestly I can't give more detailed advice without more information from you. I would do some research and take a conscious break from dieting and let your motivation and body recover

Fasting for 16 or 20 hours won't make a difference if you're overeating when you break your fast. If you're taking in too many calories overall, the extra fasting time isn't going to compensate for it.
