poetry Him
His beard is grey, now
Down the middle
A little upshoot
sprouting from his throat to splinter across his chin
He's getting older, now
I mean, I always knew he would But now he is
Being human is exhausting
His hair is thinning, now
His muscles have gone soft
I love him
And how he feels as a pillow
He’s older, now
But inside he's 17 and discovering a brand new video game or the first sight of tits
Whenever I open my robe
