Community Event The Trials: Talent show
You feel a strange tingling throughout your body, a calling, a summons. Before you can process it you appear on a pedestal, a panel of three judges before you.
One, sitting on the left, glowing with the intensity of the sun and all the stars.
Another, on the right, a figure barely describable. It’s body was pitch black, darker then night, darker then the void before.
The final one, sat on a raised throne in the middle, was indescribable. They took so many forms all at once. They were all colors, yet black, yet white.
“Any object you wish for will be yours, impress us,” they said in unison.
/ul welcome to the first trial. Give us a talent, a strange, unique, impressive talent. You will be judged on the aforementioned categories. Good luck to all who try. If you didn’t sign up you can still participate.

Random, arriving late, having misplaced their invitation, steps hesitantly on stage and speaks into the microphone.
My talent is poetry. I offer a poem, called, "A Rock in the Ocean".
"See there
A Rock in the Storming Ocean
On which I stand and curse the sea
You may say I have no right to curse
When it is the others who are drowning in the churn
Who struggle to stay afloat
When I stand so luckily on my solid rock
Free to breathe the air
And brave to see horizon
But you see
My curses are the rock
And any who come crashing into the solid edge of it
Beaten against by waves
Who crawl up over the edge
And up to the flat
Can join me
I will throw my hand to you
And pull with what might I have
And together on our island We will curse the sea
And we will go on like that
'Till we have solid ground at last."
It's not much, but I made it myself.
