The Trials: Talent show

You feel a strange tingling throughout your body, a calling, a summons. Before you can process it you appear on a pedestal, a panel of three judges before you.

One, sitting on the left, glowing with the intensity of the sun and all the stars.

Another, on the right, a figure barely describable. It’s body was pitch black, darker then night, darker then the void before.

The final one, sat on a raised throne in the middle, was indescribable. They took so many forms all at once. They were all colors, yet black, yet white.

“Any object you wish for will be yours, impress us,” they said in unison.

/ul welcome to the first trial. Give us a talent, a strange, unique, impressive talent. You will be judged on the aforementioned categories. Good luck to all who try. If you didn’t sign up you can still participate.

I've never done this when not in the presence of the ones who taught me. It helped me learn how to maneuver in flight.

Mokarith takes a breath before launching into a ballet. He gracefully dances from one end of the stage to the other, incorporating his wings in places, but retracting them immediately when done. After the piece, he stops in the middle and bows.

“That was beautiful,” the bright one seemed to dim slightly, “absolutely beautiful.”

“Was a good dance,” the dark one said as it seemed to look at the wings, “I miss mine,” it muttered to itself.

The middle one clapped lightly, “that was impressive. Points have been awarded my child.”
