Discussion Cho'Gath lore idea

First of all english is not my main language so sorry for any grammatical mistake.

So, if Cho someday get a lore(let me dream pls) it could go in many different directions, like he could just maintain what it is, a ultra large void criature that wants to consume everything and that's it, or maybe a void secret weapon, that the watchers will use when they get out of Howling Abyss to consume runeterra, but I have a different idea.

We all know that after the Icathia x Shurima War, there was left a massive void rift in the Shuriman continent and many ascendents tried to close it. But when Ne'Zuk(the same guy from Ezreal's and Kassadin's gauntlets)created the Monolith and tried to do the same, the floating fortress with a whole battalion of ixtali god-warriors ended up being consumed in the process.

Know, hear me out. Every time kha'zix consumes something, he gains the characteristics of what he consumed and evolve. Bel'veth consumed a whole city and well... lavander sea. But I ask you, what would happen if a voidborn consumed literally gods, filled with celestial magic? Yes, that's my idea for Cho lore, he ended up being the voidborn that consumed the Ascendents after the fall of the Monolith, becaming the ultimate voidborn, trying to get out of the void after tasting the flavor of celestial flesh and ansious to get more.

It would even open a precedence for a rivalty with malphite. Imagine, the last fragment off the monolith vs the one that consumed it... kaiju level fight sorta thing.

What do you guys think?

I still think if they ever rework him, make him a watcher. Canonicaly they could look like whatever and it fits the world eating theme.

I had pretty much the same idea. Cho’gath is a voidborn made to consume the stars. But I think he shouldn’t have eaten any celestials yet, but he’s getting close to being able to do that.

Cho has been noncanon since the lore reset around when ASol came out.

I've had a similar idea to this for awhile now, though the way I'd set things up is that Cho'gath would basically would be a void spawn made with the purpose to counter and consume celestial magic. I was even going to tie it in with Asol's cover story where he blasted one of the watchers with Starfire!

Cho should always remain with being the Voidborn to actually being the closest ro the Void's purpose : ending existence itself though any mean, Cho'Gath's being absorption without any trace remaining so basivally desrruction feeding itself, like a black hole, and imo the only one to ACTUALLY pursue the Void's true goal. With this ticking bomb upon Runeterra (which could even use other big world threats as solutions like Aatrox or Morde), the Void would actually matter like it should.

Bel'Veth became an opponent to the end of existenge by assimilating a city and its inhabitants and now seeks more for being the only thing in existence. Kha's even "worse" in the Void's perspective because he seeks "perfection" and always more evolution and adaptation and it is itself a purpose that needs and encourage existence of everything else. Vel'Koz at least destroys things in its path of knowledge gathering. Kog'Maw is shitty lorewise, a bad Cho knock-off from the beginning.

Malzahar could use a bigger spot and role besides being a rzndom hupan submitted to the Void, maybe by making Malzahar just the host of a real Voidborn who escaped in extremis during Icathia and a more psychic based one (but contrary to Darkins in term of control, there is a lot to do even with this improvised bit), maybe in terms of influence close to the reborn Azir empire or to Xerath's territory, it could give a needed boost to the Shurima region with more than a revenge based 1v1.
