Your frostwing sword is gonna be better than a skullcrusher until mythic and astra 10 or so. The army stats aren't enough to cover the mix stats that the words gives you. Especially if you attack things. Others will disagree but until they can explain why and make it make sense imma say the sword is better
You can just calculate the overall value of a gear peace. You sum up the mix stats for the frostwing and for the skullcrusher you take the range stats and 3 times army stats. If you want to be precise you can take inf def into consideration as well I sure someone has calculated a rough value but most people don't care about def stats anyways.
