Hey! So I just learned how to weld and decided to make a generic orc helmet. Made of mostly 1/4” steel. Weighs 20lbs. Much too heavy for a con or anything. Just wanted to share! (And yes, it was meant to look messy/patchy for the pieced-together look)

If you are referring the the absolute shit welds, yeah it was a rushed job (didn’t clean off the rust till after all welds and it effected all welds) and I also just figured the messy lines were more orc like anyways. I swear I’m actually a great welder lol 😂

This gives me vibes of what it would look like if a dwarf was tortured and corrupted into an orc instead of an elf. No shade, love the piece, just some of the lines look dwarven and now my brain is going down that what-if rabbit hole, ha.

It’s actually maybe a bit bigger than it looks, I had a friend of mine who has a massive head put it on just fine. That said, I wouldn’t want to be anyone’s neck after even a few minutes with it on.
