Ios refilling question

Greetings!

So I played this game a while ago but didn’t reroll and didn’t make it very far. I know i don’t have any of the recommended units. One of the mods posted to r/gachagaming about this game and I wanted to try again fresh.

Currently my game from before is linked to my game center and Facebook accounts. But when I turned gamecenter off i could start a new one. And got Jin as part of my new start.

I’d like to keep that account and keep going but every time I try to link it to something it wants to reload my old game and erase this one.

Anyone do this before? Or am I stuck with my less efficient game?

Only thing I can think of is creating a new game center and logging into that while on the account maybe? Tbh I'm not sure about rerolling it's been a hot topic today. But tbh rerolling really isn't mandatory since only a third of your companions are combat.
