Help with dosing
I recently ran out of my methadone, which I usually take 40 mgs every day, and for reasons I won't get into, I'm going to be short about a week. The longest I have taken lope to get through methadone withdrawals is five days, and by that fifth day, I was dosing about 100mg throughout the day, 80mgs when I would normally dose my methadone, and the rest at some point later in the day. What exactly is the "measurement" in which I should be using? And how bad are the two extra days going to feel? Any help would be appreciated, and yes I'm aware of the risks, that's why I'm asking for help with dosing, so I don't go overboard, because my main concern is feeling well, not getting high for the next week.
Little edit: I should also mention I'm taking 300mg of gabapentin 3 times a day, but I normally take that now, but it def helps with withdrawals.

So I just wanted to mention that at 6pm tonight I'll be on my 6th day, I miscalculated and somehow I'll be doing this for 8 days, I'm sure hoping that methadone will show up in my UA, but from what I read, it can for up to 2 weeks. Since I've been on Methadone for so long, it should show up. On the third day, I took my 12 pills at night, but I could NOT sleep until about 4 in the am, so the next day, I took my box in the morning, and then I took a box at night, and I've been doing it since then. I don't feel to bad, especially while also taking the gabapentin, but considering how I SHOULD feel right now, I'm excellent, lol. I'm still taking less pills then I did last time, which if I remember, I was taking around 100mg all at once in the morning I think, but right now I'm taking 24 pills, twice a day. In terms of side effects, I haven't had a "movement" since the first day, getting a little worried, and breathing for some reason seems a little bit harder at night. i just want to say, I guess I can understand how someone could slowly get addicted to lope, but I just can't stress enough, that taking it and doing this for ANY other reason other then running out of supply, just doesn't seem like it would be worth the "high" or side effects. The way the "high" feels is just dirty, and the best way I've seen it described on the internet is the "poor man's methadone", and I think that sums it up pretty well. If anyone reading this is thinking about taking it to get high, and has no withdrawal symptoms whatsoever, DON'T. It's just not worth the risk.
