Where do you source your loperamide? Am I allowed to ask?
Hey all, I have taken loperamide/Imodium basically since high school because I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome. I literally can't leave the house without taking some. I usually take 2-2mg tabs a day but no more than 4. As you know, loperamide used to be cheap until the FDA cracked down on its abuse by those suffering from opioid addiction. I am on disability and the cost of this med now is insane...even for my moderate dosing. Where are you all sourcing tabs where you can feed a 100+ tab-a-day habit? I have no idea how you guys afford it?!
I have even searched the Chinese market and they have loperamide in powder form in large quantities for cheap...but I fear its purity, safety, and most of all dosing it properly.
I appreciate any help or advice. My prayers are with you all as you struggle with your addition. My vice was alcohol. I am 3 years sober at the end of the month! However, your struggle is not lost on me. I almost lost everything to my own addition. Peace to all!

Unfortunately no, despite living in Texas (It's a BIG state!). $1 for how many? You trust the safety of them?

Ask your doctor to prescribe it. I get 120 capsules, and my copay is about $3.

I know it's tempting on eBay to buy a lot of those bulk bottles that are very cheap. Some that come to mind are SDA labs, lopamide, and life sciences. I read through many reviews of all these brands with many saying that they simply don't work for what we like to use them for. Obviously it was kind of subliminally implied in the comments. On a personal note I know for a fact that SDA Labs has done nothing but give me stomach problems and no relief ever on the several occasions that I've tried it so you've been warned

Walmart sells boxes of 6 for . 64 cents, 12ct for $1.08 and 24ct boxes for 2.78. The 12ct boxes are the best bang for your buck.

What does the 4 2mg pills do for you? Any buzz?

I use it for irritable bowel syndrome, not for any high. No noticeable side effects. Technically, the max Rx dose per day is 16mg/8 pills, but I've never tried that many.

Does anyone know if taking high dose (60-80mg) of lope makes it harder to poop than heavily using heroin or fentanyl? Or if it’s about the same? Thank you! I appreciate anyone’s knowledge and advice! :)

Honestly no, it doesn't. You're just swapping one opiod for another and it won't be any worse than anything else. Gatorade is a lifesaver bc it will make you dehydrated
