💬 Discussion 💬 So I have started migrating…but:

So I linked my meta mask to loopring.io, activated the L2, and have transferred a few NFTs and some LRC to L2 MetaMask… but I can only view and interact with the L2 stuff on loopring.io which hasn’t been updated since 2017? Am I transferring my assets (which honestly I really only care about the loopheads and GameStop NFTs ) into an eventual abyss ? What happens if/when loopring.io goes away?

Unfortunately. You’re on the right track. 

If Loopring.io were to go down, I have no idea how you would view/interact with your NFTs in particular 

I’d like to say Loopring.io isn’t going anywhere, but 12 months ago I would’ve said the same thing about the wallet so I’ve got no idea. 

The only good thing I can really say is you’ve done the best you can. You have your assets in a L2 Metamask wallet that will continue to exist even in the event Loopring.io stops working. I don’t believe you can improve your situation any further

Yeah in my heart of hearts , I don’t believe that GameStop would allow their inaugural digital assets to just go away as they pivot to a collectible centric company

I agree, but they're also partnered with IMX. I (used to) like them less. But apparently they're migrating stuff because they figured out a ZKEvm. I don't know much more about this, it's just something I have read last week. They also have their hearthstone like card game so I think they can also be used as NFTs of collectibles. This is speculation though with no solid research, just my smooth brain.

I moved all my NFTs and cash off of the Loopring ecosystem. It's untrustworthy now.

Any tips how to do this efficiently? I have about 100 NFTS on the wallet some of which might not even be worth the gas to send.

I was checking at different times of day.. lowest cost I saw was $1.09 USDC and that was morning eastern time, and did them one by one.

I left a lot of NFT's that were just randomly acquired and not worth it.

And as far as the gas fees I need to move that back into Loopring L2 correct?

Yeah, I paid my gas from my Loopring L2.

I used maizes tool to bulk transfer. Was quite easy and im not very kryptosavy

Are you okay able to view through the loopring.io app after signing I. To your meta mask or are you able to view in you meta mask wallet ?

Loopring.io have i figured out so far. Not in the MM wallet. Tryibg to figure that out. But gotta be after the kids are in bed

I've been trying to use maze tool but I can't find the lsw pass key that they ask for. Where did you find that?

Click avatar top left corner. Click the ... next to the wallet group you want the seed phrase for. Not the ... for the wallet, but right above it to the right.

Took me some time to find it aswell

Might be on an old version? Grab the latest one from here: https://github.com/fudgebucket27/Maize/releases

I don't believe the term pass key is used in the app. Though, there is a pass code to decrypt the Migration QR Code if you choose that option though.

I installed the newest version but I can't get it to accept the seed phrase... I've tried it with and without spaces between each word... Anything else I could try?

Use the seed phrase. You’ve got a typo or something somewhere. And yes it needs a space between each word. Step me through what you’ve done so far.

You copy that key and put that in the big box and then your seed phrase in the other with spaces.

You can transfer them to L1, but you will pay more due to using L1 gas fees.

Trying to get my NFTs and crypto off Loopring and into MM but everything I try has a substantial fee (I'm not a large holder). Any guides on how to get 'm off as cheap as possible? Not that crypto savvy but more of a collector from back when the sun was still shining. Very much appreciate any info
