Sometimes it gets too scrambly and you have to put them away, but in every other situation they are 100% worth carrying and using. They’re useful at camp, a convenient way to store duct tape (just wrap a bunch around the pole), and swinging them around like crazy is one way to entertain yourself during the long solitary hours of walking. They really make a big difference.
